You need a big skid steer to lift 2000lbs. let alone 3000lbs. It's more likely that it has 3000lbs. breakout force 2000lb. tipping load. Tipping load is twice the rated operating capacity. 1000lbs. sounds about right for a 30/37 HP machine. It will be an older machine with the Wisconsin engine. They were popular in skid steers a long time ago but I've heard that they overheat in skid steers and don't last as long. What kind of price is he asking? That's probably the biggest question. Dave
