I have a 1983 360 Long and a 2006 Farmtrac 555. The 360 has been the toughest tractor for the money that I have ever owned. General maint with a couple of clutch replacements. The Farmtrac has been another story. The indians made all of the seals overseas using a defective rubber causing a plague of oil leaks. Replaced the ehgine main seal, oil pan gasket, and power steering gaskets on column while under warranty. Rubber boots over brake shafts went this summer during hay season. Tractor down 2 weeks waiting for parts and of course warranty long gone. Farmtrac is old style ford castings with Indian engine.
Long/Farmtrac has gone defunk and no longer exists. There are some aftermarket parts available for old and newer models out there but pricy. Older models made by LONG were much better tractors than Farmtrac.
