I've built two of them over the years. I made the first one with a 2" cyclinder, and it wasn't long before the cyclinder was damaged, and leaking with a some what bent shaft.
I made the second one out of a 3" cyclinder. It's about min. size to use. I bought a 3 point ball end, and adapted it to go between the tractor and the cyclinder.
I was useing this all the time, the first year or so, but now i find my self going back to regular top links. It was really use full when i used it with a set of 3 point pallet forks i all so made.
If you go to a farm store and buy several weld on ball ends, it's really easy to measure some pipe, or flat bar for the length of your implement, and weld up several sizes you need.
