You're on the right track. I'd make sure I get 3 point (I think the IH 350's are 3 point, but not sure)- you won't be happy with a 2 point to 3 point conversion. My 550 is my favorite tractor, but then, I've never operated an 800 series. Don't think you'd go wrong with either one.
