I grew up on an 8N ,was new then, what a pos. the only thing they are good for is riding to the mail box on a warm day.
Ford made many attempts at building a tractor, and they did have one success it's the 5000 diesel. It pulls well,handles well,and very durable ( stands up to my neighbor),he bought it new and I overhauled it once 30 years ago and it's due for another overhaul.Rest assured it has earned the overhauls and it still runs.
