I have parts book for IH loaders. It shows front mounts of a 2000 loader are the same for 856 and 656. A 686 is, for all practical purposes, the same thing as a 656 or a 666. So, yes, it will mount on a 686. However, the subframe rear axle mounts for 656 are different and the subframe is probably shorter than subframe for 856. It is nothing that you could not modify given a photo or diagram to look at. I can send parts pages and pages from Operator's manual. Reply if interested.
