Like you, I"ve been Case IH for a long time.Looked at both last spring. Decided on the 5095M. The JD loader had twice the capacity of the IH. Also the IH loader bucket does not tilt down enough. You"d always be shaking the bucket to get it to empty. One thing I don"t like about the JD is that one of the shift levers is too close to the seat and has a tendency to be in the way if you want to turn around to look back.
And, for me the JD dealer is only 3 miles away compared to 20 for the IH. Bet you"d be happy with either one though.
