I've had several chippers. I started small and worked up to a auto feed PTO powered one. I ran it with a 45 HP tractor. All these small chippers are expensive, and a pain to use. If you don't buy one with power infeed, anything but the smallest limbs will beat you to death!
These days i build brush piles on my place. The rabbits love them, and they rot down very fast so i have to keep adding every couple years.
You really need to get a bigger one, (10" capacity min.) and some how make it pay for it self, or rent one from time to time.
