I have to replace the overdrive shift cable on my H Farmall. I have taken the set screw & lock nut off the top of where the cable goes through the pivot on the shift fork. I can't pull the wire out of the pivot. I can feel under the fork and it feels like a hex on the bottom of the pivot. Is there a bolt screwed from the bottom up into the pivot? Which would mean the wire is locked from the bottom and the top into the pivot. All the mechanics around here have never had a H transmission with overdrive apart. They have no idea. Any help would be great.
