A disc/chisel is the ticket. You can drive through almost anything, stalks, foxtail or whatever. No need to disc or chop the stalk first. Around here a small one doesn"t fetch too much money. I use this one, not behind this tractor, but on a 2255 and it works quite well. We put a hand me down harrow on it and it works great.
