Ray, I have found that if you run straight WD-40 through a carburetor, it will cut through the gummy stuff. I've had stopped up carb on a couple of engines and used it and didn't have to disassemble carb to clean or rebuild. Must be the old style WD-40 as the new stuff won't ignite. L8R----Fred OH
