We haven't had any skunks cone around for a couple of years. I don't know if it's because of the chocolate lab or what.
We had a skunk raid the chicken house once, and when it came out carrying a young chicken dad let loose with the 12 gauge, trying to aim toward the back of the skunk to try to save the chicken. When he shot the chicken ran one way and the skunk ran the other way, leaving it's tail laying on the ground where dad had aimed. It never did spray and we never saw it again. Jim
