I think mine was the Heathouser brand- had a U-shaped flat iron assembly that bolted onto either side of the dash, (where the gauges are) using original bolts that held the dash cover in place. The rod that went through the upper part of the canvas went to the right side, down to the floorboard, and there was a short flat iron there that bolted to the floorboard. Similar on the left, bolted near the clutch. Door on left swung shut to close the area, some kind of latch on the left fender. Usually left the door off.
