I just discovered that both rear tire rims are rotting away on my old tractor, around the valve stems. I suspect it was caused by a leak of fluid from the stem at one point, although both tires are holding pressure just fine. One of the rusted/rotted spots is so big, (about 1"x2") that I can poke my finger in and push the tube itself. Question: Do the rims need to be replaced or can they be welded in some way?
