ok george next try this, remove the filter,clean off the surface and look at the small holes, does it have a black diaphram looking thing inside there? if so thats a anti drainback valve and should not be used on your juibilee, go get the 85515 from carquest or 5515 from napa and see if that cures the problem, if you stop the engine and imieadly check oil it will be low all the oil is still up in the engine it takes 15 minutes or longer to get a good reading , im betting you either have the wrong filter on her or possibly something wrong with the new gage [ not too likley but it is possible] try the filter change first, what filter is on it now?
