No, I don't think its okay to ride on the road illegally. But I also don't think we need "quad police". Makes me think of when I was 12 or 13 and me and my 3 farmer buddies were out riding our motorbikes around the section on fri night. Our twp had just gotten its own "cop". Well, guess what. We got caught and the only one grilled was me, the non-farmer. He "didn't recognize my name". Every spring during the dry season our state eventually issues a ban on open burning. I sit on friday night and listen to my scanner as the FD runs willy nilly to every backyard in the twp. Yet, miles of dikes and ditchbanks flame all night as farmers do their annual burning. Ban? What ban? Double standard?
