I raised 50 of them one year. Had $7 per head invested, and you could buy a naked turkey with one of those little pop-up gadgets in his side for $6 in the grocery store. The story of my life. Buy high and sell low.
It looked bad, but a guy who ran a BBQ kitchen bought almost all of them for $10 apiece. Said he preferred farm raised turkeys, as if all turkeys aren't farm raised.
No more live turkeys around here (except for me).
