The proper way to remove liners is with a hollow ram cylinder attached to a porta power with a plate machined at the bottom as described earlier. I use a piece of 3/4" all thread with mine and a piece of pipe machined square on the ends and as long as the liner. Then a plate on top of the pipe to set the ram on. The all thread runs through the whole contraption with a nut on each end. Then its just a matter of pumping the ram. These foreign manufacturers that make the ten ton porta power units don't know it but they could sell a lot more of their kits if the hollow cylinders were included in their kits for pulling with. You reckon they read these posts? We'll know if we see it for sale next spring. L8R----Fred OH
