Most 504's have a 2 section hydraulic pump- I think one section is for steering and 3 point, the other for auxilliary- but don't quote me. Several different setups, industrial might be different, your mileage may vary, some assembly required.
All of which is to say you just about have to get a book to sort it all out. Guess I'd suspect the pump, unless you can figure out where all that oil that used to steer your tractor is now going.
