I think WD40 has wintergreen oil in it as one of the main ingredients. The other part is a little of some mixture of petroleum distillate. You probably have to use it from head to toe daily to develop any carcinogenic problems. I worked off and on in the retail drug business and saw a lot of more dangerous proprietary products used.
