Your so right about the warm up and that goes for any tractor! I like to keep the revs at 2/3s till warm, on our 5288 I make a pass or two out in the field that way and in the next lower gear, it warms up a lot faster under a light load than idling in the yard. I hate to think of all the tractors abused to death, local guy will start his tractor in the field and in half a min he has it under full load! Then he grumps about that tractor being a pos, how would he feel if he was woke up in the morning and that quick was hauling 50 lbs seed bags fast as he could go. Pity the guy that buys that tractor as its gonna need some tlc. Good maintiance can make even a so so tractor work well.
