HERE WE GO AGAIN__People that think Detergent oil foams like detergent soap--NOT SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Detergent oil even has "anti foam" inhibiters. The "Detergent" term is used to indicate that properties in the oil hold contaminents in suspension until they can be removed by a filter rather than allowing them to settle out, forming sludge. DETERGENT OIL DOES NOT FOAM. If the return oil to a reservior is higher than the reservoir oil level, oil splashing in can cause splash bubbles to form. return oil should always return BELOW the surface.Foam inhibitors in good detergent oil kills the surface tension of bubbles, so they can't form very easy.
