Have an old zetor 6245. Czech alt. hasnt worked since I've had it. Fitted a ford motorcraft alternator from 80's model truck. Should the alt read any voltage without any wires hooked up to tractor. Tried hooking up groung wire to block and still could'nt get it to read voltage. Had it checked at auto parts store before installing. Checked out OK. Any suggestions? Thanks Newbie
