I know there is alot to take into conserderation, such as dry, wet ect. One thing that has crossed my mind is fencing in the hay fields, so a few weeks, month, after 1st cutting hay, I could turn the cows out in the hay fields and let them harvest the grass, and fertilize it for me. Getting a second cutting of hay here has been impossible the last 2 years because its been so wet. Have to consider the labor and cost of fencing I suppose. J
