I had to replace the front mounted pump on my Allis D14 loader/backhoe for the same reason. It started to push the shaft seal completely out of the casing...after replacing seals 3-4 times...I was told that pump was probably worn to the point that excess slippage around the gears was building way too much pressure behind the seal. A $400 pump was the painful cure to my problem...not the $3.00 seals...like I hoped.
