I would have been 3 to 4 years younger than the teens on that show in the 1970's. My life was quite a bit different than the ones depicted on the show. Never was around the "experimenting teens" but spent plenty of time trying to get certain girls to go to dances with me. I really don't miss my teen years. More disappointments than triumphs. I'll have to admit there were more than a few Reds around growing up so that was realistic. The couple Midges around you did not dare check out much less flirt with if you knew what was good for you. I'd like to try my hand making a show from that time period. Probably not many people interested in the adventures of some country kid.
