Matt, the revving of the engine or "surge" that I call it is normal. Im told when this happens, the trans. has to stop spinning and then go the other way. Someone correct me if I am wrong on that. The tach will jump a little anytime the clutch is depressed. You didnt say, but Im assuming that it is a powershift? 7900.00 sees a little steep to me, even with new batteries. Im thinking 5-6 would be right, and even then it would have to be decent.
