In the late 40s there were Wards tractors I believe marketed by the Montgomery Wards company. I've seen one, it had I believe a chrysler industrial engine, and truck transmission and axle. The rest of it looked a bit jury built, with steel plate and angle iron. The hood and grille at a distance looked much like an M farmall. The tractor was a narrow front and was about the size of an H farmall.
