they dont put sulpher in engine oil sulpher is in diesel fuel, if you take sulpher water and heat what do you get ? sulpheric acid. that is why there are so many additives in diesel engine oil to try and neutralize the acid (plus other stuff) the main thing to look for is the tbn (total base number) of the oilthe higher the number the better the oil is capeable of neutralizing the acids that sulpher causes. our price at our caseIH dealership for no.1 engine oil is 4.23 per gal and 4.53 per gal for hytran
