Dave I have to agree with you and tell you there is no reason for you to feel like you have offended someone for speaking your mind.
I have a medical discharge from the Air Force. Was kicked out before my tour was up. But I never did contact the V.A. for compensation. I really do not feel I am disable; just could not physically do the job the Air Force wanted me to do anymore. Still can not but I live with it. I think they have me classed about 20 or 30%.
I know people that have tried; and some even get; a check from the V.A. for nothing more than saying they are depressed when taken their discharge physical.
Now for someone like my son that is 60% and his disability affects every day of his life that is a different story.
