Pouring in high octane fuel & installing a super mega turbo blaster ignition system on an otherwise stock engine will not make it a super-stock machine. Adding some methyle alchol or nitro methane will add power to anotherwise stock engine.
Any octane over what is required to prevent pinging/knocking/ detonation will reduce HP & make your wallet lighter.
Adding some xlyene or toulene from your local paint dealer or chemical supply house to tractor gas will be cheaper than Cam2 for an octane boost.
