I made a rod about 5 ft long that attaches to my loader joystick and reaches back to me beside the splitter, have a large ring (6") on the end so it's easy to find without looking. I would be better to have a control on the splitter with a detent but I didn't want to spend the extra money on it for the little use, besides, it's an excuse to get my wife to help, she runs the control!
