Back in days when a Case was Case and IHC was a farmall.. There was a farmer who farmed some black clay (gumbo we called it in Southern Ill.) He could not get his M to pull a 3 bottom plow. My father sold him a new case 400. That not only would it pull 3 bottom plow it pulled a 4 bottom... End of story When I went to Dads funeral last fall I saw the farmer and he shook my hand and said.."We have newer bought anything green"... My Late Granddad said when CASE bought IHC "well at least now they will have a tractor now..."
