I agree with what you just said. I have had IH and JD together for years, and liked both brands still do. I cant compaire them power wise thou. JD A JD 720-D. IH 706 gas, IH 806-D. But in there own hp range both brands are hard to beat. All tractors will pull, its just that they were desighned to pull just so much. (Old tractors foever.)
