Hey schmuck, maybe you haven"t been around long enuf to know everything? I"m 68 and for years I never did anything with my anti-freeze except add if it got low. I bought a "75 F-100 NEW and after about five years the antifreeze got rusty lookin" all of a sudden. I drained it, flushed the whole system using washing soda and plenty of clean water; then added new antifreeze mixed 50/50 with distilled water and added some Prestone "conditioner" every couple of years and NEVER had a problem again.
