I'm curious. This is not the first time I have read something like this, but I have always changed my anti-freeze in everything I owned every 3 years and mixed the un-diluted anti-freeze 50/50 with tap water and the ONLY time I ever had any trouble was when I tried the crap that was supposed to last 5 years. In less than one year it had eaten the impeller on the water pump up so badly that the heater core and radiator were no longer functional, so I junked a car that SHOULD have been good for another 100-150,000 miles. Since then, I went back to the old stuff and change it every 3 years and have had no more problems. Are you basing your reply on actual experience, or just parroting what you have heard someone else spouting?
