Hey buddy, if we didnt drop the nukes on the Japanese we would have had to invade Japan. We would have lost 1 million men (very possible) the nukes ended it quickly. My grandfather was drafted in 1944 and was trained in hand to hand combat and was waiting on a troop transport ship for months, to be ready to invade Japan. But.....He came home unharmed. I have a great deal of knowledge about WW2, I have read several books on it. And both my grandfathers were in it.
