According to Sealed Power parts book Rod brgs. Main brgs. Cam Brgs are the same. many other parts may or may not be the same depending on how engine was configured at new. There are 6 different cam gears for F162 and 3 for F163. The 3 for F163 are all listed for F162. 5 of the 6 for 162 are 48 teeth and one has 56 (not for use with hyd. pump). Oil pump may or may not be the same. 3 choices for F162 and 2 choices for F163. Valves are different. Head same size but stem length different. Valve springs and lifters are the same.
