As far as I know there are no duties either way (into the US from Canada or into Canada from the US) as long as the machinery was manufactured in Canada or the US. There hasn't been for years and years even prior to the free trade agreements. I have shipped Canadian made tractors to the US - $30.00 brokerage charges thats it. Also it doesn't matter what it is if it was "Made in the US" it can go back duty free from anywhere.
