Nothing really to explain. Modern view keeps active stuff up frt, classic doesn't. If something goes a day in classic without an answer, it ends up a couple pages back.
If it was the potbelly stove clan remark, just go to about any thread and see how long it takes for someone to steer the original thread to something they want to talk about or make themselves the authority. Kinda like a fat woman in the beauty shop..
