Our local court system is eating this up. Not only are they loud compared to the stock exhaust, each of the ones around here have the pump timing modified as well as turning them up. They smoke when throttled hard making dangerous scenes. Our state law reads that a muffler must be installed and exhaust must be maintained to prevent excessive smoke. Cars and trucks do not smoke like this when they are new and the courts will uphold every citation. So when they blast it at the light and smoke up the intersection imparing vision trying to make a scene, done deal. The traffic awards seem to add up adding more to the economy.
