tommyw maybe you should do some shopping around on your ins. I'm sure every area is different but I insured my new $26000+ Hesston 856A baler for $71.53 with State Farm. Added on to my farm policy. Might not be the full annual amount as I bought the baler in June. My farm policy renews in March so maybe they only charge me 3/4 of the premium. I financed the baler with AGCO and had to insure it which I intended ot anyway but the dealer said I could probably get a better deal on the ins with my own insurer than with AGCO's carrier.
