FWD Adaptions

I am considering fabricating a four wheel drive unit for my oliver super 88. I do not intend to use it full time. I would just like something that could be used on rare occasions, or when needed. Is there anyone who has ever tried such an adaption on an older tractor of such. I am open to any suggestions, thank you.
