Now that's something I really miss. No pumpkins here in Iraq. Matter of fact, almost no vegetation at all. Lots of fine sand, some almost as fine as baby powder. I would usually have a good sized garden with squash and pumpkins. I enjoyed making pies from scratch from pumpkins that I had grown. A lot of work but boy it's worth it when your family and friends take that first bite! We have a pumpkin farm practically in our back yard, Leeds pumpkin farm near Delaware. We always go there with the kids, they have all kinds of stuff to do. One time I estimated they must've had around 3,000 people there based on the number of cars parked in the field.
