RAIN Has not made it Here Yet ,, But I do believe when it does , The rain Won't leave til it has dropped at least couple inches ,,.. used 3pt fertilizer spreaderto sow cover crop on bean ground today .. still sloppy here ... been doing beans as wether allows, 13- 13.8,moisture, 51-56 test weight , also same Numbers for Yeild per acre .. GUESS I just Got Lucky ... Got 60 acres of corn to do and have not sheled any yet . Not too sure how to keep it when I start ?... CGB Jeff .,IN , has got too much wet corn on their hands now... brother has been fighting stirator in bin trying to dry low 20s moisture with air ,, he bought a used batch dryer , and is needing some help to get it on line ... heard a few horror stories of corn souring in bins in the county ,, Personally I think itWould help to draw out 10% after a days addition , Just to keep the center from SETTING UP,, What do you All think ?.. Is that a good practice ?,.. honestly, I have to go back to 1973 , to match a year this wet for Us in southern IN.. FOR YEARS <>.been used to it being so dry, Ya don't dare go to the field unless You had a fire extinguisher in the combine ......
