kent, my farms are near dwight , my shop is in yorkville. libertyville is about an hour north. about half or a little more of the beans are out around here, almost none of the corn has been combined. we did about 40 acres of my corn about 2 weeks ago, the early plant in may was running 21 %, then there was a replant due to rain, that was 38%. our yields are down quite a bit because most was planted the end of may. running about 175 bu/acre. last few years we were around 200/acre. got beans out couple weeks ago, they were running about 53-54 bu/ac, down from 64 last year. prolly not gonna get the corn out till we get a hard frost in the ground. hate to get the fields all rutted up in this wet.
