We switched to Dish three years ago or so. Partly because we could not get service from Direct (as in fix the receiver or replace it). The other reason is that from Dish we got the ability to have two seperate signals with two seperate remotes from one receiver. In addition, one remote is not line of sight, it is radio frequency, so we have one signal in the house and one in a small apartment for the same money. Both controlled from their own remote. It works very well.
The service has been fine. It occasionally goes out when there is a very severe storm. Usually just for a few minutes. We have a local service guy but have never needed him.
When a storm takes the signal out, it is over south central Illinois. We are SW of Indianapolis so the satellite must be in a westerly direction. It is also an early warning system for bad weather.
We need it for local Indianapolis stations since we live out in the boonies at the bottom of three hills. Also RFD-TV and most of the other stuff I want to watch is in the highest price package that doesn"t have pay for movies and that stuff.
Overall, I"ve been very satisified and the two remote thing is a great deal if there is a desire to watch two seperate programs on different TV"s.

The appearance of matching sleeves, pistons, rings, and bearings can cause frustration and agony if not properly measured and installed in a workshop environment. Following c
