Have had Dish for several years, am satisfied with it. Very little "down time", seems to work most of the time, except during cloudbursts, hailstorms and blizzards. Wife wanted to change to Direct at one point (don't remember why), but the Fox Sports Net channel for our area (which carries Seattle Mariner games) was not included- that was a deal breaker for me, and we stayed with Dish. Originally went with satellite because our cable folks kept raising prices and reducing channels.
