I use the beach sand as well with very good luck, no warpage and as good of a finish. just take your time and you will see. on my smaller parts I cut the top flaps off a 24" x 36" cardboard box and ductaped plexiglass to the top. cut two holes in the side, I blast them in the box and use the long rubber gloves for hand protection. then save the sand ,restrain it..... I aint run out yet...
