I also am interested in 12 volt conversion.
My B had an alt on it when purchased but burns out regulators and doesn't work properly.
I don't have lights so I have been using a marine batt. to start. This gives me many starts and every once and awhile I throw it on a charger. I would like lights though. What did you finally do?
